## The boating year here

The bay is long and sheltered, so conditions can differ from open Lake Ontario; confirm timing with your marina or the City of Belleville.

- Launch May; haul-out October.

## What storage looks like here

The bay is long, narrow and sheltered, with Prince Edward County on one side and the Trent-Severn entrance at Trenton, so boats here are often both a local summer boat and a staging point for a long cruise inland.

The bay is a long, sheltered waterway, so most boats sit in seasonal slips from May to October and then go onto outdoor yard storage on stands or cradles or into trailer storage. Trent-Severn cruisers and Prince Edward County cottage owners add a steady share.
